We Are Not Spectators

FC Dallas have started their push to get 2010 season tickets deposits with their We Are Not Spectators campaign. I appreciate the effort, but it feels kind of like a bad version of the Nike commercial with the Brasilian National Team in the airport. It could be worse, much worse, like New York's Running with the Red Bulls campaign, which might be the worse marketing campaign ever. Even the Revolution did a better job with their parody of NYRB's flop. Come on already, just bite Scarf Seattle, look how it worked for the Sounders.

Tuesday News

I'm way too tired to come up with anything clever so I'm going to just give you the news.

New England Revolution defender Jay Heaps is retiring. I guess he was just holding out for that first USMNT cap.

Canada will be at the World Cup. Maybe Ireland can figure out a way to get there too.

The NASL is growing by the minute.

Martin Vasquez is tipped to be the new Chivas USA coach.

Jermaine Defoe knows how to score.

The Generation Adidas boys are touring South Africa.

Have a holly jolly Christmas! Seriously, you need to go window shopping.

Fire vs Revolution Highlights

I guess not having the away goal rule made this game a little more interesting. My goal of the year vote goes to Nyarko and Blanco for the series winner. An absolute massive goal!

From The Stands: Fire vs Revs

This game was absolutely insane. The atmosphere looked great on TV and the second goal was epic. I'll post the full highlights when I find them, but until then, check out John Thorrington's goal from the stands.

NE Revolution vs Chicago Fire Highlights

I'm disgusted by the size of the crowd at The Razor. At least they didn't have gridiron markings on the field. Oh, and I still wish that MLS was using the away goal rule.

NYRB VS NE Revolution

Friday night action from MLS.

Sainey Nyassi's goal was absolutely sick. It makes me wonder if he's that much better than his brother or if Sigi just doesn't like Sanna.

KC Wizards vs NE Revolution Highlights

Again, more football lines. It makes me want to puke. Well, at least there were a lot of goals.

Toronto FC vs. New England

Highlights from the Revs trip north of the border to the plastic pitch. I hear that DeRo loves playing on it.
