More Donovan at Everton news


Landon Donovan was officially unveiled to the media today and what surprised me is that he received the number 9 shirt. Talk about expectations! Landon also revealed that David Beckham helped him in his decision to go on loan to Everton. Will Donovan fail or succeed? And what would be a successful loan spell? Let us know what you think.

    He's going to tear up the EPL (AKA, the most overrated league in the world).

    It will be interesting to see how he does. I think a good loan spell would be starting on the bench and having some good showings, maybe even scoring a goal or two off of the bench. Then gaining a starting position and contributing goals and assists. I don't expect much out of the Americans in England. I just don't want them rotting away on the bench.
