Nike Tiempo 94

Nike dropped a limited edition boot to commemorate their launch of the Tiempo Series back in 1994.
The limited-edition, limited-distribution Nike Tiempo 94 Men's Football Boot celebrates the heritage of the Nike Tiempo and Paolo Maldini, the player who first wore the boot and made it legendary in the 1994 world championship football tournament in the US.
This new edition features the latest innovations to make it a lighter, tougher boot.
Only 2,500 pairs are available in Europe through select retailers.
I can't believe it's been 15 years. Crazy how time flies!

The Moment You Train For
Straight from Nike's mouth:
Lassana Diarra is used to defying the odds. Not the tallest, the largest or the strongest, hes carved a role for himself in Les Blues midfield, from sheer determination and committed training.
Every second of his preparation will be tested, if he gets his chance to show what he can do against the Irish. Theres a spot in South Africa at stake.
Watch the video to see Lassana in training.
The Four R's
Nike dropped a new video featuring Dean Smith (not the basketball legend) putting the Academy boys through their paces.
Becoming the complete player means nailing the four Rs Receiving the ball, Releasing the ball, Retaining the ball and Running with the ball.

Nike Academy Physical Conditioning
You can get to know the Nike Academy players here. From Nike:
Being nifty on the ball means nothing unless you can match it with the physical capabilities to stay strong throughout the game. Thats why Performance Director Jon Goodman has stepped in to put the lads through their paces working on drills to increase endurance, improve reaction speed and boost athleticism.
The Academys recent match against Brighton & Hove Albion was an eye-opener and showed how fitness can make the decisive difference between victory and defeat. As the season moves forward, the opposition and challenges get tougher...
The team now must up the tempo and prove they have the right mix of technical, tactical and physical skills to take their game further.
Next up Nottingham Forest.

Cesc Fabregas: Total Control
I'd have to go back and look at the tape, but I think Landon was wearing these against Costa Rica. Which doesn't make any sense, since LD is a Vapor guy.

My New Boots?

You guys know what I'm currently rocking for my games from a post a few months ago. Well, yesterday Beans from The Original Winger stopped by the Nike Offices in LA and took a pic of my next boot (hopefully). They're set to drop in November, so I'm thinking they'll make a good Christmas present, plus the Don't Tread On Me design is fitting for today's U.S. game.

Make The Difference
From Nike:
Does anyone else see the irony in this video?
Pain is temporary.
Defeat is permanent.
They taunt you and they hack you. But you know what you need from the game.
Three points. A performance to keep your place. To crush your fiercest rivals.
So when youre brought down again, for the seventh time thats when you get up, rise above it and turn the game.
Does anyone else see the irony in this video?
Master The Ball
Did you hear how they said you need to become really good at one or two things? I did, and I specialize in doing the stepover.

Raúl Albiol v Bojan Krkić
What starts online ends on the field. A new ad for the Nike T90 Ascente ball.
I've got to admit that I'd be more impressed if it was in miles per hour...because 100 kilometers per hour equals 62 mph.
