Toronto F.C. announced today that they signed Canadian midfielder Julian de Guzman as their Designated Player. Coming from Deportivo La Coruna, De Guzman should be ready to play this Saturday against Colorado. Let's hear it, is this a good move? Will this be the final piece to Toronto's puzzle? Does anyone else think adding another midfielder doesn't make sense? I will be interested in seeing how Toronto handles international call ups.

It's great that they're able to bring in a big name Canadian player, it just sucks that Danny Dichio had to retire because of it. That's wack!
