Who will make the trip to South Africa?

Now that the US is set to go to South Africa...who will make the trip for the USMNT? I was reading up at espnsoccernet to see who was all going to SA in 2010 and saw a player ranking page for the US team, needless to say I had to check it out. It was interesting an read. Click here for the link.

  1. Too bad numbers 4 and 5 are major question marks now. Plus, I don't agree with their rankings and outside of the top 7 they have listed I'm not really impressed. Where's Jeff Cunningham? Oh, it hasn't been updated since September 23rd.

  2. Yanks-Abroad has been doing this for a while. It will be interesting to see what the upcoming versions look like. Cunningham needs to be in South Africa.

  3. It's pretty weak that the rankings haven't been updated for a while. Funny how you guys are so high on Jeff Cunningham since he's been through so many clubs and finally making a splash now on a team with just an outside chance of making playoffs. Be nice to see at least what he could do on one of these friendlies. He couldn't hurt anymore than Bornstein. I also think they need to give Findley a try. The reason Charlie was so good for us is that it added another speedster to our team. Findley and Cunningham I think could fill Chuck D's role in that department. It's tough to replace a guy like Charlie, but come on we need speed and those 2 guys have it. Connor Casey is a tad bit better than Ching, but we have a big target guy in Altidore. Give us speed!!!!

  4. I agree with you Can't Teach Speed. Other than Landon, we haven't had speed to threaten since the Cobi Jones, Ernie Stewart, Roy Lassiter days of old.
